Summary: “A romantic drama about a tight-knit group of college friends who graduated from NYU the year of 9/11 and reunite years later for a weekend wedding in Georgia. Unresolved conflicts and love affairs spark again.”
After reading that summary, if you’re looking for a movie about a tight-knit group of friends who graduated the year of 9/11, look somewhere else because this movie was something else.
First off, these characters were not believable as best friends, even if time had passed since they were super close. Getting together with your college friends after a while, I would expect a lot more from them. When I get together with my high school friends, it’s a lot different. They didn’t even talk to—or really care about—their so called friend that was getting married. She was in like two scenes.
Then on top of that, I had expected 9/11 to be a huge influence on these characters lives. It wasn’t mentioned until pretty far into the movie. That one scene in particular was the most interesting one in the whole movie, to be fair. But it didn’t have much to do with the story as a whole.
Unless you’ve got nothing else to watch (in that case check out my other posts), I’d give this one a pass.
Avaliable on Netflix.
