Summary: “Arthur Christmas at last reveals the incredible, never-before seen answer to every child’s question: ‘So how does Santa deliver all those presents in one night?’ The answer: Santa’s exhilarating, ultra-high-tech operation hidden beneath the North Pole. But at the heart of the film is a story with the ingredients of a Christmas classic – a family in a state of comic dysfunction and an unlikely hero, Arthur, with an urgent mission that must be completed before Christmas morning dawns.”
I told you guys I was in full Christmas mode.
Arthur Christmas is one of those movies that I’ve been told about by a bunch of people, but have just never had the opportunity to watch it. Finally caught it on TV, and I mean, it was alright.
For kids? A great movie. They’ll laugh and love to see an explanation as to how Santa does it that makes sense in todays world.
For me though, I liked it, but probably wouldn’t watch it again. I’ve seen better animated Christmas movies. I think the story was kind of flat for me, but I know it was made for kids so it makes sense.
If you know any kids, definitely have them watch this one, and you’ll probably enjoy it a little yourself too.
